The Rules

Thank your nominator

Answer at least 8 questions about writing

Nominate at least 5 people

The Questions

When did you first start writing?

I think I was six when I first started writing. Mostly I attempted to write (awful) poetry, and a few little stories. Then when I was eight, I stole borrowed my sister’s notebook and started writing an absolutely awful story about a princess who was a milk maid at first. It’s complicated.

Well, then, I started typing stories on the computer, then I heard about NaNoWriMo, started five days late, and started writing seriously.

Okay, that was a long answer.

Have you always been interested in writing?

Pretty much, but I never really considered it as a career until two years ago.

Why do you like writing?

It’s calming for me. I hate being around people, I have panic attacks a lot, and I’m lonely.

Writing helps me keep a hold on life. My characters are my friends that are always with me, and they will never yell at me or fight with me or say mean things to me.  I talk to them at night when I can’t fall asleep, which is every night.

I talk to them when I’m sad, I talk to them when I’m happy, I talk to them when I’m nervous.

So. Yep. That is why I love writing.

What genre do you write in?

Fantasy, Science Fiction, Dystopian, and I used to write Contemporary.

Who or what motivates you to write?

My alpha readers!

Do you ever write poetry?

Uh. I used to… and it’s so awful.

Have you ever written a story with a friend?

No, I really, really wish I could, but… I don’t really have friends in real life, and my online friends are too busy and I’m too shy to ask if they want to write a story or even a blog post together… so. Yeah.

How do you write your stories (first or third person, past tense or present tense)?

First person, present tense, usually. It’s easiest for me to write.

Where do you see yourself writing-wise in one month? One year? Ten years?

Ohhhh, I don’t know…

One month, probably still working on my novel, Starless.

One year: Hopefully my novels Starless and Autumn Rose will be finished and I’ll be working on Survivor, the Starless sequel, and getting ready to work on Morning Star, the Autumn Rose sequel.

Ten years: The whole Starless and Autumn Rose trilogies finished and published, maybe??? And more books written???

Okay, now I need to nominate some people…

The Nominees

Uh. Uhhh…. Okay, here’s what I’ll do. Comment if you’re a writer, and I’ll put you up here. I’m out of writers, sorry.

Welp, that concludes this post! Adieu!

  1. I love your answers, Chloë! Thanks for nominating me! I already did the Awesome Blogger Award a couple of weeks a go, so I probably won’t be doing it again. I can do the writer’s ink challenge, though! 😀

  2. The whole panic attacks with people but your lonely is me. I totally understand. I don’t have real life friends either. I thought I’d make tons of friends blogging but I haven’t at all. Nobody really…..likes me. I loved reading your answers, by the way and Starless and Autumn Rose sound like great books😊

  3. I love reading interviews, and you sound a whole lot like me.
If it isn’t to much trouble, could you add me to your list for the Writer’s Ink Challenge? I’m currently working on a novel and need some motivation. Would you care to give me some?

  4. Cool answers!! I agree that Panem would be pretty cool….you know, if I didn’t end up in the Hunger Games and everyone I love didn’t end up dying. And to answer your question at the end, chocolate is life, simple as that XD

I adore comments, but please keep them clean! Thank you!
